How I work

I work exclusively with women at all stages of life, offering counselling and psychotherapy to those seeking support, a space to reflect, or a deeper understanding of themselves and their experiences. Sometimes there is a particular difficulty that brings someone to therapy; at other times, it may be the cumulative weight of responsibilities, relationships and expectations that has become complex or difficult to carry.

Sessions, either in person in my Reigate clinic or online, provide a confidential and collaborative space to explore whatever feels important - whether that is something happening now, a significant life experience, difficulties in relationships, or patterns that seem to keep repeating.

My approach is relational, trauma-informed and integrative, meaning I work with the person in front of me moment to moment, rather than in a one-size-fits-all, or directive way. 

​

The relationship we build together is an important part of this work. As trust develops, it can become easier to explore experiences, feelings and parts of ourselves that may have been difficult to share or understand before. Sometimes, familiar patterns in how we relate to others may also emerge within therapy itself, giving us an opportunity to notice and explore them together.

 

While we may focus on what is happening now, our work may also involve looking beneath the surface at recurring patterns, earlier experiences and relationships, and the ways these may continue to shape how you see yourself and relate to others. Where helpful, we may explore how certain ways of coping or relating developed, what they once protected us from, and whether they still serve us now.

Session & Fee details

• Weekly sessions are 50 minutes and are available online or in person in Reigate, Surrey.

• The fee is £65 per session.

​

A limited number of reduced-fee spaces are available for those who may otherwise find therapy financially inaccessible. If cost feels like a barrier to accessing support, please feel free to get in touch to discuss availability.
